Symposium 2013 "Innovative und interdisziplinäre Arbeitswelten":
Unser erstes Symposium "Neue Arbeitswelten" an der ETH Zürich hat mit 130 Teilnehmern grossen Anklang gefunden. Daher freuen wir uns den Termin für das nächste Symposium rund um die Themen Arbeitswelten, Architektur, Kunst, Forschung, Innovation und Kommunikation bekannt geben zu können: am 7. März 2013
Ganz besonders ist diesmal der Veranstaltungsort: Das Symposium wird direkt auf dem Novartis Campus in Basel stattfinden und Führungen beinhalten.

Lukas Weiss works as a project manager in a company offering applied research and technical consulting in cooperation with the Institute of Machine Tools and Manufacturing at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich). He was a PhD student with Prof. Dr. Roman Boutellier, who chairs the fields of Technology and Innovation Management at the Department «Management, Technology, and Economics» (D-MTEC).
Lukas Weiss has earned experience in industrial R&D in various fields for two decades. Joining the Swiss lathe manufacturer Tornos SA in 1995, he was Head of Research and Development from 1997 to 2004. From 1993 to 1995, he served as Project Manager with Leica AG in Singapore and Heerbrugg. From 1990 to 1993 he was employed as Technical Director of COS Laser Technologies AG, Dättwil. Prior to starting his professional career with Siemens-Albis AG, Zurich, in 1986, he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.
Research Interest
His research focusses on strategies for producers of investments goods in consolidated markets, such as means of production.
