Eric Montagne works as a scientific collaborator at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich). He belongs to the research group of Prof. Dr. Roman Boutellier, who chairs the fields of Technology and Innovation Management at the Department «Management, Technology, and Economics» (D-MTEC).
Eric Montagne was born on August 12, 1979 and graduated from High School in Burgdorf, Bern and in Colorado, USA (exchange year). After completing his studies in Economics at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland (HEC) he specialized in Management of Technology visiting the Executive MBA program jointly offered by the Swiss Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), the University of Lausanne (HEC) and the McCombs Business School of Texas at Austin, USA. During his studies he spent two years abroad (USA and Mexico) and followed his studies in French, English, Spanish and German. Eric Montagne worked on projects and internships for Nestlé (food, Vevey), Synova (laser-cutting, Lausanne) and Bordier&Cie (private banking, Geneva).

Research Interest

His research is in the field of risk management focussing on product risk management.
Eric Montagne is part of the Risk Management Team offering workshops to implement along with companies an easy to use risk management.
